Guess what???? Yep...pictures of the babies....{big cheesy grin}

Once again, pics of these kiddos. It's a good thing we take lots of pics when we go over there, because their camera is broken. This way I blog them and all the Alva's {Ali's family} can see these cuties since Rick and Ali don't have any pics to blog right now. So enjoy~~ Erick wanted me to take a picture of him and Hayden's puppy. After I would take the picture he would say, "Let me see". If it wasn't right, he would say, "let's do that again". We finally got it right....ha ha ha
I will never resist taking a picture with this little man. He is getting so big so quickly.
I thought Haylee and Erick were so cute playing computer games. Erick was so wrapped up in his games that when we left he didn't even cry. Usually he has a meltdown, not last night.
Erick and I got to play with his pirate ship.
We went for a walk. It was really nice outside....a little chilly, but nice.

I love this picture of Trevor and Zach....so sweet.
Isn't Zach adorable???? I love him.
Zach was being so cute last night. We layed him on the couch and we were talking to him. He just kicked his feet and talked and talked. We couldn't help but smother him with love he was being so cute.

Erick is SO good with Zach, not one ounce of jealousy in his bones. He just loves his little brother so much and it shows.
You can see why we feel the need to get over there every weekend. Look at how much Zach has grown in just the 2 months of his life.
We just can't get enough of those kiddos.

New look

Oh man.....I like this look SOOOOOOOOOO much better. I absolutely love daisies, they are my favorite flower. So, when I found this background, I HAD to have it. I hope you all enjoy the new look. It is spring after all, and it was time for some spring cleaning on this blog.

I also started another blog to share my paper creations on. I didn't want to bore those who come her to see pictures of the fam with cards and scrapbook pages, and bore those that come to see cards with pics of the fam. My other blog is scrapstampandplay.blogspot.com.

Have a great Saturday. I wish Saturdays lasted longer than they do.....dang it.

Warning...complete cuteness ahead!!!!!!

Last night Heather and I were having complete withdrawls from the babies and their parents.....we needed a fix.... and bad. So, we jumped in the car and headed out for some total cuteness and lovin'. I know these are my grandkids, but do they get any cuter than this???? I don't think so!!! I couldn't get enough of these guys. Zach was being so stinkin' cute. He was all smiles. Love him~~~~
Erick was pretty excited to see us too. He is such a sweet little boy. I truly believe he was sent here to accomplish big things. Love him~~~~
Emily bought some tattoos for the kids and Haylee has one on her hand here. You'll also notice the little bling on her cheek....she is all girl!!! Love her~~~~
Let's see....where's Hayden??? Oh yeah, he was outside playing all night with his friends. It was so cute to see him having fun with his friends. I can never get enough of these little guys. Love them~~~~

Read it....loved it...had to share it....

People can be unreasonable and self-centered.

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives.

Be kind anyway.

If you are honest, people may cheat you.

Be honest anyway.

If you find happiness, people may be jealous.

Be happy anyway.

The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.

Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.

Give your best anyway.

For you see, in the end, it is between you and God.

It was never between you and them anyway.

Tomorrow at midnight

Anyone who knows me at all....knows how much I loved this movie and the books. I think I probably win the record for seeing the movie the most times.....I saw it in the theatre....do I admit this in cyberspace????.... I saw it .....well a lot of times.....I mean A LOT of times.....loved it.
Even though I have a bootleg of the movie, I can hardly wait to get the "legal" version with all the extras. I just might have to go to a midnight party......well .....its only 9:00p.m. right now and am tired, so I know I will never make it tomorrow night until midnight. Thinking about it, will I really come home and watch it right then anyway???? No!!!! So, I think I will just get it Saturday morning...sorry I'm tired and rambling right now.
I think I'll go dream of Edward.....goodnight.

Loved it so much....I had to share

If you read my blog at all, you know I recently did a giveaway. I had SOOOOO much fun with this. It really can be lots of fun to do things for other people for no reason at all, but to give. You should all try it.....really. So anyway, one of the ladies that responded is a Stampin Up demonstrator so I wanted to make her something she could use in a workshop, or stamp camp or something.....{if you're reading this Tanya....stop right now.....unless you don't like surprises.} So this is what I came up with. An accordion style scrapbook. I loved it so much I wanted to just share....what you could have had, if you would have told me what makes you happy.....too late....sorry.
Above is the front cover, and the following pictures are the pages inside.

This is the back cover.
This is what it looks like from above.

I had so much fun making this for her. I hope she has as much fun filling it with fun photos of her family....it's a cute family too btw.

So, go on and make something special for someone today, just because!!!!! Go on...get up....do it.....

How to fail a test with dignity

As many of you know I work at the local high school. I got this in an email, and have to say I was quite amused. I hope these kids at least got credit for being clever. Makes you wonder where he got this idea for an answer.
Expand.....get it??? So funny.
This kid watches too many movies.

This one to me is just classic. This is my favorite one.

I hope you enjoyed these as much as I did. They put a smile on my face.

Yep...another birthday at our house

Another child is another year older at our house. Crazy to think that my little Trevor is now 24 years old. Where has time gone? Didn't I just kiss his scraped knees better???? It's funny how I don't have problems getting older, but find it hard to have my children get older....what's up with that? Haylee being silly. Her and Erick helped put all 24 candles on Trevor's cake. Yep, we made him blow out all 24, none of this 2 candle business when I'm in charge of candles....{cheesy grin}
You can see he did get a little help from Erick.
His birthday was on Saturday, so he went to one of his favorite Thai restaurants in Hollywood....Toi Thai. You can see he had lots of friends and family to help him celebrate. This is only half of the group. You'll notice all the food is gone....that's how good this place is...yum.
Heather and Amy giving Trevor a birthday hug.
We all love you Trevor and hope you had a wonderful birthday. Next is Nicole, then Jeff and Amy....wow!!! We get to eat lots of cake and ice cream these next few weeks.

Free....no catches or strings attached....

Okay, so I'm noticing that either nobody wants me to make them something, (I'm going to think this isn't the case....for my own self esteem issues....lol) or nobody wants to be obligated to give in return.

So, with that said, I really am in the mood to give. (get it while you can people) I will send something handmade by me to whomever comments on this particular post. Just leave a comment about something that makes you happy and why.

Something has to make you people happy, let me know about it.

Be a Winner!!!!

Has anyone seen this before?
I saw this on my friend Cory's blog. I thought it was a cute idea and would play along. Hopefully I won on her blog, shes an amazing person and I know the item I would win would be wonderful.
So, the first five of you to respond (and follow all the other rules) to this will be hooked up.
Here's the rules:The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations: 1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make for you! 2. What I create will be just for you. 3. It'll be done this year. 4. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a card. It may be a scarf or maybe even some creation I haven't yet dreamed up. I may draw. I may bake you something and mail it to you. It may not be big or impressive. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure! So come on, sign up! 5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to post this same blog on their blog and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Let's keep the chain of love going around!!
So what do you think? Sounds interesting and fun doesn't it?

Life is good

I know and realize that the only pictures I have posted lately are pictures of my grandkids.....But why wouldn't I when they make faces like this? I love and miss these kids.
Can you tell I practically had to bribe Hayden to pose for this picture? He was not in the mood for his sister last night. Brothers!!!!!
Didn't have a problem getting him to take this one though.
The face of innocence.....just give them a few years....
I think last night I had more fun playing with Erick than I ever have. He wanted to show me his room. We ended up being in there for like an hour. We just played and cuddled and had fun. He is quite an entertaining little boy. At one point he looked out his window, I noticed the stars and commented on them. His reply was, "The stars are beautiful tonight!" The kid is 3 years old for crying out loud. I couldn't help but just giggle. He is so stinkin' cute with his big words he uses.
I had a great time visiting them last night. I sure do miss seeing them every day....but am so grateful they are still close enough to visit frequently!!! Enough said.

Sometimes life sucks, and then you just laugh

I have been dealing with plumbing problems all morning. I was sick of scooping out water from the shower and pouring it outside, so I decided to take a break at the computer for a minute. I'm glad I did. My mom sent me this joke and it made me laugh when I really needed a good laugh. So, I thought I would share it in case you could use a good laugh. I hope it works for you too. Enjoy!!!

One winter morning a husband and wife in Montreal were listening to the radio during breakfast.
They heard the announcer say, "We are going to have 8 to 10 inches of snow today.
You must park your car on the even-numbered side of the street, so the snowplows can get through."
So the good wife went out and moved her car.
A week later while they are eating breakfast again, the radio announcer said: "We are expecting 10 to 12 inches of snow today.
You must park your car on the odd-numbered side of the street, so the snowplows can get through."
The good wife went out and moved her car again.
The next week they are again having breakfast, when the radio announcer says:
"We are expecting 12 to 14 inches of snow today. You must park....." then the electric power went out.
The good wife was very upset and with a worried look on her face she said," Honey, I don't know what to do.
Which side of the street do I need to park on so the snowplows can get through?"
With the love and understanding in his voice that all men who are married to blondes exhibit, the husband replied,
"Why don't you just leave it in the garage this time?"

The Big Kahuna

This blog post might need some explaination, so here it is. We have some very dear friends "The Kailiponi's". Gary loves to tease them about having more kids {for those of you who don't know them, it is all in fun}. He will call them and leave a message from "The Big Kahuna"....{all part of the joking and fun} and tell them that they still have more babies waiting to be born into their family. He has been doing this now for years.....again, all in fun!!! So, on his 50th birthday they brought him this cute little cake. You can only see that it says "Big Kahuna" on it. Well, the whole message reads...."The Big Kahuna has spoken". Esther, their youngest daughter was also wearing an I'm the Big Sister t-shirt. I kept pointing the t-shirt out to Gary saying, "are you seeing this t-shirt Gary?"
He finally got the message they were delivering, and the picture below you can see his reaction. Woo-hoo, the Kailiponi's are expecting a new little one in September and we couldn't be more excited for them.
The "Big Kahuna" celebrating his joy. He says he can now rest in peace. His work is done.
