Gary's Retirement Dinner
Gary is offially done with AT&T as of last night. AT&T paid $500 for a dinner, at a restaurant of Gary's choice for his retirement dinner. Gary picked the restaurant Northwood's Inn. The whole family was there and boy did we have a fun night.
This is our first family picture taken since Lucy was born. I sure do love this group of people.
This is Gary with his boss Cindy (in the plaid) and Gary told her to bring a friend with her, so she brought her friend Donna (in the brown).
While we waited for our table to be ready....there was 15 of us so it took a few minutes....we took pictures to kill the time. How cute is Hayden here?
Haylee was afraid of the dead animals on the walls and ceiling. She found comfort with her Uncle Trevor.
Lucy is getting so chunky. I love a good healthy baby.
I love this picture of the boys.

What a funny face from Hayden. Typical 9 year old boy not wanting a kiss from his little sister.
We had a great night together. The food was DELICIOUS, the company even better.

Angelic smile....
Ali asked Erick to give me his angelic smile. This is what he gave me. I love this kid. He is so stinkin much fun. A wild child at times, but he knows how to melt grandma's heart.
Another little sweetheart. He can melt my heart too when I can get him out of his momma's arms. He is a mommy's boy right now.
But you can see I did get my hands on him at one point. All I can say is being a grandma is the best thing. LOVE BEING A GRANDMA!!!!
Isn't she beautiful. I love this little girl. She has such a sweet heart, with so much love to give.
They love to play games on the computer. Aunt Amy was playing with them too. Amy had to get her loving in that night too.
Hayden heads straight out to the basketball hoop when he gets here. I love it. You can see that the hoop is really close to the fence, and many times the ball gets thrown over the fence, and he ends up coming in because the ball is gone. So, Amy in her wisdom moved the basketball hoop so this doesn't happen anymore. Good job Amy!
One of the things I really love about Erick is that he loves to cuddle. So, we cuddle a lot. Amy got a picture of us cuddling while we were watching the new Ice Age movie. So much fun.
I love it when these guys come over and bring their parents with them. We always have a good time.

My wonderful children....
I have some of the best kids. They were so sweet to me all Mother's Day weekend. On Saturday Trevor was at Target and saw the German Chocolate cake mixes, he remembered it was my favorite cake and made it for me. (He hates that cake, so it made it even more special)
Yummy in the tummy. I loved it, it was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!!
And Jeff and Nicole brought me these beautiful flowers and some Lindt chocolate, some white chocolate covered popcorn....yumm....and a scrumptious chocolate cookie. What can be bad about any of that??? Nothing!!
And they smell soooooo wonderful.
Then Sunday Trevor surprised me with some more treats. He had a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and LOTS of yummy chocolate treats, and some snickerdoodle cookies. Such a sweetie pie. I love him.
Then later that night, Amy said, "by the way mom, you have some treats in your fridge. Have you found them yet?" We weren't home at the time so I couldn't wait to get home to see what it could be. I go into my scrap room.....and yes I do have a little fridge in there with waters and sodas....and I found this cute little surprise.
As I opened up that wonderful smelling Target bag, this is what I found inside. Lots of tasty treats. It just made me giggle. My kids do know their mother and her love of chocolate. I have plenty to keep me happy for some time now. She also made me a cute little card with a coupon for a day of fun with her. Could a mom ask for more lovin from her babies? I think NOT!!
And I got to spend Saturday night with all my kiddos and grandkids. It was a great night. I truly feel blessed to have been given 5 wonderful kids, and 5 amazingly fun grandkids.
