Haylee Ann Thompson is "6"

It all started off with a slumber party.....minus the boys....of course. Rick, Ali and the kiddos went to Disneyland Friday and dropped Haylee off to spend the night with her "best friend" Heather. The boys cuddled in too, until it was time for them to head home. Then it was just Heather and Haylee...the birthday girl.
While they were at Disneyland the night before, it was raining and Haylee's shoes were soaked.....so we took her to get some new shoes for her birthday.....Heather also bought her a new purse. The sunglasses....well Haylee found those laying around and ....well they are just Haylee....our little DIVA!!!!!!!!!
Pancakes are her favorite, so Grandma and Heather took her to IHOP to get some breakfast. What a pose....like I said....our little DIVA!!!
A happy little girl.
She told the server that it was her birthday, and they were so sweet to bring her a sundae....not traditional breakfast food....but it was so nice of them, and they sang "Happy Birthday" to her.... She loved it.
Blowing out her candle.
She does love her Aunt Heather.
Then on Sunday night, we headed out to their new house for dinner, cake and ice-cream....and some baby cuddling of course. This was the first time Grandma Thompson got to see the new little guy....or "nugget" as Heather calls him. As you can see, she thought he was pretty neat.
And then, this Grandma had to get her hands on him too.....I love being a grandma....it's the best.
We had one more gift for Haylee to open. {How do you like that wrapping paper??? Nothing but the best for my grandkids....} ha ha ha
She said she wanted an Ariel doll. It was the last one in the store, I guess she's more popular than I thought. Haylee was happy.
Erick wanted to see her too. Who would've thought, the kid that loves to play with cars....{you will almost always find a car in his hand}....wanted to hang out with Ariel too????
Cake time.
Enjoy it while there are only 6 candles to blow out Haylee....it only gets harder as life goes on.....Grandpa Thompson will be blowing out 50 candles here soon, and most definitely will need some help with those I'm sure.
It was fun hanging out being a family.

Hayden loving his new little brother.
I kept taking pictures and Hayden decided to make a game out of it. He kept trying to run away from me and the camera. All the kids got in on it. It was fun, but I think we drove everyone else crazy with it.
My little Squishy and me.
It's fun to see your children be parents. I loved watching Rick with his son. He's not proud at all....ha ha ha
I think Haylee had a great birthday.

Warning......this post contains lots of pictures

Yesterday was Zach's blessing day. It was great to have the whole family all together at church on such a special day. Isn't he just the cutest little guy? I realize I'm prejudice here, but dang it he's cute. This is all of us.
The happy family of "six".
The proud parents and Zach.
My mom wanted a four generation picture.
There were 3 babies blessed that day. Rick and Ali with Kristy and Brandon and their little boy Preston.
The next few pictures are just us taking random pictures. We had like 3 different cameras taking pictures so sometimes we aren't looking at the camera directly....I don't know about anyone else, but I sure had fun taking pictures with my family. Below: My mom, Amy and Heather.
Amy and Trevor
My mom with Erick. Erick had to pick a flower while taking the pictures. He was proud of his flower.
Nicole, Jeff, Amy, me, Trevor and Heather.
Nicole, Amy. me and Trevor....Jeff hopped in at the last minute.
Jeff and Nicole....hopefully the next baby blessing will be theirs....hint hint you guys.....
After pictures we changed and went out to Rick and Ali's new "BIG" house. Erick calls it the "BIG" house. We hung out, held the baby, ate, and watched an amazing superbowl football game. This picture of Jeff holding Zach was taken a few days earlier, but I didn't post it then....so, I'm doing it now....hmmmm looks good Jeff...hint hint
My sister Lora with little Zach.
Aunt Nicole with the little bundle.....feels good huh Nicole???? hint hint
Great grandma doesn't look to happy does she.

It was a great day to be together. There's nothing in the world better than being a family......and I do love my family.

Precious times

Group cuddle with Aunt Heather. OMGosh.....I love this little boy. How cute is
that little face all smashed like that???

Ali says there is no sibling rivalry between Erick and Zach. He just loves his little brother....and it shows. I miss having these little guys living with us. They moved out last Saturday, and I will ALWAYS treasure those precious 9 months we got to share in their lives each day. I am truly a blessed grandma.

Did mom look in the basket at all
as she was walking????? Hello.....
I hope the lady below doesn't hit a bump!!!!

This is my favorite one of all.....I have to say the parent, most likely the dad.....sorry guys.....was very creative. He even taped up the duck for his daughter.....very thoughtful.

Fun at the park

After Heather and I took the kiddos to go see their new baby brother at the hospital. They wanted to go play at the park.....so we did.
Hayden just hangin' around.
Erick loves to climb.
Haylee and Erick having fun together.

As you can see they had a great time. It was good for all of us to get out of the house and do something different. It brought back memories of when I would take my kids to play at the park when they were little.

We are loving our new little burrito.

Checking out the baby.
Cuddling with mommy and watching cartoons.
Haylee just wanted to love and comfort her mommy. It was really quite touching. She sure does love her mommy.
Grandma with her little burrito.
Aunt Heather.
The brothers.
They sure are happy together.
Hayden being a good big brother.
He has had plenty of experience.
Haylee is head over heels in love with her
new little brother. She couldn't wait to get
her hands on him.
So far, he is being an excellent big brother.
I know Erick is already thinking of the "fun"
things "they can get into"....oh I mean "do", as
Zach grows up.

We FINALLY have a baby!!!!!!!!!

Little Zachary Roy Thompson has finally joined his family, and we all thrilled to put an adorable face to a name. Mom and dad don't look too excited here do they????

He was born at 4:46a.m. this morning. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 11ozs. I was too busy taking pictures I didn't pay attention to how long he was. We couldn't be happier to finally get to cuddle and hold this little guy. I will post more pics later. We are taking his siblings to meet him at 10:30 and then will have more pics to share.
