Ho Ho Ho....Ha Ha Ha....
I think one of the funniest and will be the most talked about moments on Christmas Day was towards the end of the day. Ali's birthday was on Monday, the 28th. Heather, Amy & Trevor all went in on a gift for Ali's birthday, and Heather had asked Trevor to wrap it for them. While Trevor was in the back room wrapping Ali's gift, he had this brainstrom....and what a brainstrom it was.
Everyone decided that it was time for Ali to open her birthday present....on Christmas night....and Trevor says for everyone to wait...he has a surprise. He comes running down the hall with 3 more presents and tells the kids that they still have one more present to open. He tells them to sit in a row and face a certain way and that they have to open their presents at the same time. The whole time he is doing this we are all thinking .... wow Trevor when did you pull off getting these gifts. I thought he had already been amazing with his gifts, and was even more amazed at what he was doing now. So, the kids open their gifts all at the same time....and it turns out that all Trevor had done was rewrap gifts they had opened earlier.....it doesn't sound as funny reading it as it was being there....but it was so hilarious. Hayden picked up on it right away, you can tell by the look he is giving Trevor in the picture. Haylee was a little confused saying, "what? now we have 2 giga balls." And Erick, he was so excited to get Twister....he was totally clueless.
We got a great big laugh out of that one. Trevor was laughing so hard, and so was I. I love his sense of humor, such a fun guy to have around. Then we got down to business and Ali opened her gift.

More Christmas picture fun...
Ho Ho Ho!!!!
Hayden had a Tech Deck Christmas.
Uncle Trevor went Christmas shopping for the kids at Target one day not quite sure what to get them. He figured he would just puruse the aisles and see what looked fun. Well he sure did score. He saw this Cars bike and was the only one left, so he put it in his cart thinking "maybe"....then some lady came up to him and asked him where he got it, and he told her it was the last one....that made his decision that he was getting that for Erick. Turns out when Erick was at Target one day with Rick and Ali, he saw the Cars bike and told Ali he really needed that. Needless to say, Erick was a happy camper when he opened it up. We saved it for last.

Some Christmas Memories
I love this picture of Zach and Dallas. Dallas is sooooo patient with Zach. Zach just loves to be around Dallas and do fun things like....pull his ears, tug at his jowls, pull on his stub of a tail....you know things dogs just hate, but Dallas never growls or snaps at him. Dallas will look over at us sometimes like, "are you going to stop him?" Zach steals his bone, and Dallas just looks like "are you gonna give that back?"
Cuddle time.
Cuddle time.
Rick, Ali and the kiddos spent the night on Christmas Eve. They are getting ready to open their new christmas jammies.
In their mathcing jammies. Don't they just look like they have mischief on their minds????
Erick starting the present opening on Christmas morning.
Zach's first Christmas. He is getting ready to open his very first Christmas morning present.
Uncle Trevor was the man this year with the kids. He got them some amazingly fun things for Christmas. He is reaping the rewards with lots of thank you hugs. He truly did deserve those hugs.
More hugs for the Easy Bake oven. Every little girl should have an easy bake oven.
Haylee's taking after Grandma and like to scrapbook, so I got her her own supplies. I can't wait to see her beautiful creations. This girl is very creative and talented.
I think he likes it.
We had a great Christmas. Having kids around on Christmas is just the best thing ever. The joy and happiness on their faces just makes everything about Christmas that much better. I have tons more pictures from Heather's camera too. I will post those later.....just in case you didn't get enough from this post.....ha ha ha
